Hailing from the valleys of Swat, Saddam’s work pays tribute to the socio-political and historical fabric of his upbringing. The words ‘Reide Gul’ means ‘Poppy Flower’ in his native language and is one of the artist’s favourite poems that he’s grown up with.”
