Humayun Saeed, one of the producers, expressed his excitement, stating, "I can feel it in my bones that this particular series will do wonders for Pakistanis." His sentiment is echoed by fellow producer Adnan Siddiqui, who remarked, “They say good things come to those who wait. And wait we did patiently”. Under the masterful direction of Sedat Inci, Salahuddin Ayyubi unfolds against the backdrop of the 12th century, delving into the remarkable life and conquests of Sultan Salahuddin Ayyubi. The narrative traces his journey from humble beginnings to becoming a celebrated Muslim warrior and ruler. As the adopted son of Nur ad-Din Zengi, Salahuddin navigates his identity while unaware of his true parentage. His path crosses with historical figures like Noor ud Din Zangi, Turan Shah and Shirkuh, shaping his destiny as he rises to prominence.
