Ubaid Syed’s art exhibition at Tanzara Gallery
Ubaid is a young artist who studied art at the Karachi School of Art. Based in Sweden, he has held 17 national and international exhibition, as his impressionistic and brightly coloured landscapes have become increasingly popular. His inspiration is the austere Lapland, Nordic lights and the wonder of the eight seasons experienced there. At times placid, at other times turbulent, his paintings express his own emotions through his portrayal of landscapes in rich and vibrant colours. Reasonably priced, a majority of the paintings were sold out on the first day of the exhibition’s opening on December 12.
