Rafi Peer Theatre Workshop organized the third International Film Festival at the Alhamra Arts Council. The festival paid tribute to Faizan Peerzada’s vision and mission. 64 out of 250 movies were shortlisted to be screened and people from all over the country attended the festival. Apart from Russian, French, Spanish and Australian movies, a number of Pakistani films were also screened including Chambaili on the very first day of the event with a question and answer session towards the end. The festival endeavors to provide avenues for beginners into the film industry as well as encourage both independent and commercial cinema in Pakistan. Another highlight of the festival was a Pakistan Film Poster exhibition titled “Teri Yaad” as an accolade to the golden era of Pakistan’s film industry.
